the growth in packaging requirements of the company
and also increase in demand for paper in the market,
the group has decided to install a new paper and paperboard
manufacturing unit under the name of M/s Bharat Papers
Ltd at kathua.
Coming up in
an area of 55 Acres in Kathua (J&K) in a “Tax-Free
Zone”, the proposed plant is being sourced from
and installed by Hansol EME, Korea, - a sister concern
of Samsung Group. The plant is going to be run by experts
from Hansol EME for a period of one year after installation.

The plant is fully integrated and capable of making
high quality Testliner and Coated Board. The capacity
of the proposed plant is 220 TPD and the plant
will be fully operational by June 2008.
